It's pretty much how those fuckers at "convenience" stores stay in business (despite disgusting mark-ups). Simply due to their convenient location. |

It's annoying. I'd like to support a Canadian business and all and I don't think his PTW's are priced out of line so why the raping when it comes to the price of mags? I mean if it was even close I'd buy from A&A but 2x's the price and even more for the 6-pack..... It just ain't right.
Just 'cause they're in country and available isn't reason enough for this amount of mark-up. I'd understand even $70 a mag and maybe some deal on the 6-pack but come on... There's lots of other places in the states that have mags, but few with the 6-packs. Last edited by SBranson23; October 29th, 2007 at 16:09.. |

I wouldn't pay an extra $250 for something I can get easily as well. |

usually that is how they make it...cost price on the gun, and high mark up on acc. same as in electronic cheap computer but high mark up on cables, cheap cars but high mark up on maintenance....so on.... with the us exchange rate, you cannot go wrong, to get the accesories from the states, i know it is tought for canadian biz.... |

I would understand that if it was across the board but this is one retailer going crazy with his pricing, imo.
And did he buy all these at a 60cent dollar or something? Anyway, it's just a shame to see this kind of thing and it will make me take my business elsewhere. I'm sure he won't lose sleep over it... Last edited by SBranson23; October 29th, 2007 at 16:16.. |

Given the fact that you can order them from the US and pay almost the exact same in shipping if you live close to the state in question, I find it hard to support our Canadian suppliers in anything other then gun sales.
Shit, you can just make it a road trip down to the states with bunch of friends and go shopping since our dollar is slated to hit 1 USD = 1.06$ CAD sometime this week.

if anything, magazines should be cheaper in Canada because of how expensive our guns are. I mean, I got 7 star real caps for 20 bucks from the states. While at some Canadian retailers it's 15 bucks new.

You mean $20 for 7 in the US, and $15 each in Canada, right?

it's not completely fair since 3 of them were used, and the 4 for still in the box.
but 4 new mags and 3 used ones for the price of 1 1/3 mags in canada. |

You guys can always call Mark up and negotiate the price of mags. I wouldn't personally pay $600 for 6 mags, and I didn't. But I can't get a cylinder from the U.S. cheaper than what he has it, and in fact I paid about $2 more for the M130 and it took 3 weeks to get it, vs. 4 or 5 days at most from A&A.
