hey has anybody picked up a OTG Kodiak Cadpat Jacket? I think I might get one, so long as it's not all hot and sweaty like wearing the issued rain gear. plus it's all high speed load drag looking and shit.

Well it's made with Event fabric, so it doesn't overheat. As far as I can tell it looks like it's made similar to the NCD Jacket but with a nice hood. The only downside I could see was that it looks like it cuts off at the waist (which I don't like personally).

Aswell...

Just got the NVG mount today...tossed it on. Had to bend the bracket a bit to form better on the helmet.

yeah they said the same thing about goretex being breatable and less prone to tearing. they obviously haven't met the fat kid that doesn't care because it's issued (though this I might baby a bit more, probably not though)

Pit vents? CPGear has a good description of the Kodiak set.

Sometimes they do...but only sometimes...

I'd still rather have the option of the vent rather then nothing.

Where'd you get the hydro bag on the right?

Right now I'm trying to find/make a better way to attach my Camelbak to my vest, one option I found was a seperate pouch that I could drop the Camelbak into and go. The problem now is finding the material to make such a pouch.
