Get PTW from A&A, get the rest from EmpireAirsoft (best deal and instock I found).

Picked up my M16A3 MAX for $2300 from A&A with TAX
Picked up 6 extra mags and M130 from Empire for ~$500 with CUSTOMS
Picked up M110 and 12v battery from A&A for ~$500 with TAX

Total: ~$3300 for a decent basic setup, in-country for much of it.

Grabbed a bunch extra but this is the bare essentials in my opinion. Gives you 3 cylinders, a Systema 12V 2400mAh Battery (full stock, guess you be getting the sticks batt), and 7 mags. Best deal unless you want a build-your-own kit....

Mags are in short supply right now and you'll likely be waiting some time before you can get any from Empireairsoft.
You can always get them from A&A at double the price... geezz.
(why does he charge more for a six pack than six separately? I know it's only 25 cents different but 25 cents more?)

3k is reasonable.....now need to save money for my wife and buy her an omega watch to be fair......

P.S. happy wife....happy life and the rule of 3rd...1/3 spend on myself, 2/3 on my love one's....that usually keep me out of trouble

A&A is a very reliable retailer, many of us have delt throug A&A with great results, and yes airsoft can become painfull expensive depending on what choices you make.

Interesting. I'm surprised I never caught that before. On the cells, it's written "1200mAh", but on the Systema packaging, it says specifically: "1300mAh".

Weird.

I go by what's on the cells, not what's on the packaging.

I'm just surprised that Systema made that error. Kinda makes you wonder how much they spent on re-tooling costs because some genius couldn't read the dimensions or tolerances off a blueprint properly. lol

... oh damn, no wonder PTW's are so expensive. :P

It happens more than we know, in all areas of production. Probably least of which is airsoft guns.

I don't get why A&A is charging over 2x more for a 6-pack of magazines than Redwolf, when you can import them yourself. Buy from a local retailer and get your magazines in 2 days, or buy overseas and get yor magazines in a week or two, and save $250.

*bangs head on desk*

Well there you go.
Mark is never going to sell those PTW mags at that price.
