King Arms TS-551 eotech replica

I have been looking at a large variety of holographic (well i guess technically red dot) sights. I am looking for a eotech replica sight that works well in bright conditions because i only play outdoor. Ive heard that china made brands are sturdy but fail at outdoors. I will pay the $180 for a hurricane sight if i need to get one that works in the daylight but first id like to ask if anyone knows anything about the King Arms 551 holosight. Is it good quality? is it bright enough?

Aimpoint ftw... Micro is soo nice and light and non tubular... Eotechs allways failed me..

go to www.dealextreme.com and get that 552 holosite for 32$ its full metal and everything. Works like a charm for me and i bought 2 just to be sure.

Having purchased the DeX EoTech mentioned...no, if you want a high quality replica your best bet is the Hurricane. I've heard that the G&P model is pretty good as well, but not much about the King Arms. Avoid "ACM", DragonRedAirsoft's, Unicorn.

maybe I am biased. However, I have seen two hurricane 553 which were brough to my store to try the eo4x magnfier. I saw lots of ghosting/blur.

If the eo replica has even minor ghosting, the ghosting would be magnified by the magnifier( if you want to use it with a magnifier )

All EO replica( no matter who makes it ) are NOT real holosight. So you can't expect it perform as good as real steel eotech scopes. And all eo replica uses the same machanism.

Even you pay extra $$$ for the brand name, you still get the ACM stuff but with a brand name tag. Believe it or not.

So you better go wtih cheap clones or clones look real.

go around the US airsoft forums... you could always find a good deal on a hurricane eotech... I got mine BNIB' from a chairsofter, for 100$ shipped... (hurricane eotech 553)... :P

You can browse some classified ads and find some Eotechs for as low as $300, or you can get a Bushnell (http://www.opticsale.com/bushnell-1x...2198-prd1.html)
