Shipping AEG in guncase

So I sold one of my AEG yesterday and now I just can't find a box to fit it in. But I happen to have a spare guncase around wich I won't have any use for.

Is shipping the said AEG in my spare gun case the worst idea I've ever had? I was whinking about putting a lock on it to be sure but wouldn't it unecessarely attract attention?

Thanks in advance for answers

Wrap the guncase in cardboard. Even if you have to piece the cardboard together, just use lots of tape.

I've done that several times.

Freedom is the wolves limping away while the sheep reloads.

Never confuse freedom with democracy.

shipped out my mk23 with pieces of cardboard wrapped around the case, then used a whole roll of caution tape to secure it.

I've both received and shipped guns in gun cases (via Canada Post), wrapped in cardboard around the middle for addresses and shipping sticker), there hasn't been any problems with that method.

Cover it up in cardboard and ship it. If you work in an office just ask if you can take a cardboard box or two and proceed to cut out squares that are slightly larger than what you want to try and wrap the guncase. With the extra cardboard around the sides just score it to the right size (this is to "reinforce the corners") and tape together your multiple pieces of cardboard along those parts that you've scored. Put a shipping label on it and ship it out.

I usually don't have problem by shipping with gun case. Most of the time, I wrap them with brown paper and label the address then ready to go to CP. Make sure you ship them by regular post than express post due to the policy of CP but still people ship gun by express post all the time.
