USP system 7 mag lips vs Normal Mag lips?
My friend has a system 7 USP and non system 7 mags, He was wondering if all he needed to do was change the mag lip. Its half a cenemetre away from fully going in, IF he does need new lips where can we get em?

It's not about the guy who doesn't call his hit. It's about the pants you're wearing and the pants you're team mate is wearing, Is it real multi cam or is it Chinese repro multi cam? I don't know but in the end it's still multicam. |

no, i dont believe so. i was under the impression that the actual mag body design is different.

body is not different, but why would you want to use a non-System 7 mag in System 7? Non-System 7 mags are getting rare, in Canada especially, since most USP found on Classified on Non, they worth more. Modding it would increase than chance of jam ultimately.

Thanks for that, Its my mags that hes talking about. I have 2 non-system 7 mags. I figured it might just be as easy to mod it rather than buy a new set. But as you say it is worth more ....YAY

Somewhat off topic, has anyone taken apart a system 7 mag yet? I wonder if KSC copied TM's newer base plate design, replacing the usual pins with the single screw that essentially sucks the base plate up and spreads/seals the o-ring out against the sides. It's just so much easier to work on and less leak prone.

and yes its a spring w/ pin to hold the base plate. Back on topic, Just keep in mind, Non-System 7 USP remains fairly common here, until this week, most USP are non System 7. (USP .45 is a model that alot of people have, but rarely do you see it on sale) |

no, mag size is different...
On the S7 vs normal mag, the nozzle seal angle is different also....since the nozzle/BBU design was the main difference. |
