Combat shirts

I'm looking for combat shirts, either Tru-Spec or other, and the best price-quality ratio. I've seen the TRU shirts at $30 USD, but these were out of stock... Everywhere else I see them is at ~50 USD.

I've seen those: http://www.asmc.de/fr/Combat-Shirt-M...-coyote-p.html which are about 40$ CAD+shipping, but I don't know about their quality.

I want solid colors (khaki, OD, coyote, tan to an extent...), as it's more for outdoors (hiking and work in the woods) than for airsofting.

Anybody has suggestions as to where to find these at decent cost?

What's your definition of "decent". I have the Tru-spec combat shirts and think they're an excellent value.

Well, since I've seen them somewhere at 30$ (but out of stock ) I would assume that there's other places at a similar price, or at least better than 50 bucks.

Google has been out of luck for me.

PM me as well, please?

I'm looking for the same type of thing. One OD and one CB.

Thanks,

Tys

Wasn't there a manufacturer that came on here a while ago requesting ideas/suggestions on a combat shirt?
I think he came out with a couple prototypes, and then just dropped off.

I remember reading about those too... something about making a MARPAT one (which is why it caught my attention).

I've done my fair share of looking for combat shirts too. Solid colors, like what he's looking for, aren't too hard to find. TRU-Spec recently came out with theirs and I've heard good things about it. I wear MARPAT for my camo and couldn't find anyone who carried the TRU-Spec MARPAT Combat Shirt, but I did manage to find one for cheap from Royal Tiger Airsoft. While the TRU-Spec shirt uses an OD Green for the torso, this version used the MARPAT Brown, and I kinda like it. "True" Combat Shirts, that are designed from the F.R.O.G. shirt used by the Marines, don't have a zipper in the front, but I've found the Zipper to be a nice touch to it.

I think Blackhawk also makes a Combat Shirt, but they were pretty damn expensive if I remember right. If you can find the TRU-Spec ones though, it sounds like it's a good thing to invest in. I just didn't have any luck coming across the MARPAT version.

Yes!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tactical-Combat-...#ht_2681wt_910
For the MARPAT Woodland

and
http://cgi.ebay.com/USMC-Tactical-Co...#ht_2270wt_890
For the MARPAT Desert.

For other sizes, just have a look at those same stores.

You could also get the Tru-Spec with some Google time, but it'd be around 60$ US + ship (and more).

-------------

I emailed Mil-Tec to know if there was any North-American sellers as the price would most likely be lower the in European shops, and that it would be cheaper on shipping... So I'm waiting for news from them. I'll let you know if I find something interesting!

Personally I've never seen Mil-Tec products, but one guy I know told me that his Mil-Tec things (these were not combat shirts) were pretty durable. I'll guess someone will have to take the risk for the others^^

I saw some dude in Iraq take a regular UnderArmour shirt in tan and sew the arms and collar of a regular BDU on it. It looked hawt!

Some airsoft impressionnist did the same and it still looked cool.

I'd recommend taking a thicker shirt than the regular hot weather UnderArmour, because it might get ripped on branchs or velcro hooks.

Thanks Fox. Got it last night.

It's a little big for me too...shoulders/arms fit nice. Main body must have been sized on a fatty.

Damn american sizing! I'm never buying again unless they have specific mesured size charts.

You can maybe tuck the shirt in your belt, under a plate carrier, it won't mather. I hope the shirt will find a use.
