Fallout 3 gear

Hello all, I was looking for some possible suggestions. I really like the look of a couple fallout 3 uniforms and I want to know how easy they would be to make.

First being the Vault 101 uniform. I was thinking the 5.11 Jumpsuit in blue, and then sewing on the yellow, but i dont know what I could use for the belt etc.

Next is the Riley's Rangers uniform. I really like the look of it, but I dont even know if there is any equipment that would slightly resemble it.

the riley rangers unifors could be made out of a football chest protector or a hockey one then spraypaint it OD, but the shoulder may be too big and you'll just look like a dumbass, search around on canadain paintball retailer sites, I know those wimps wear big external armour like that.
The vault suit could be a faded mechanics coverall, then sew on the yellow parts, dont know about the cuff link things though, you'll have to tailor those

if you can find those seat belt buckles that are in things like racing machines and dune buggy's etc where you pull up on the tab and it comes loose, theres actually belts with those kinds of buckles I have one, look in punk/skater clothing shops. then modify it with the thing on the back and your golden

Bah don't to the 101 vault do the original, Vault 13. Though I'd suggest looking into having the numbers silk screened on.

Well, I finally got the 5.11 jumpsuit. It is pretty damn good, it just needs to be faded a bit. Oh well. As for the yellow, i would like to sew on a nice yellow fabric because if you look in the picture, the numbers etc are indeed sewed on. Haloween is going to be awesome lol.

I'm still stuck on the belt. Where would I look in Winnipeg for a belt like this?

i am not sure if you will be able to view this thread on the Manitoba Airsoft association website, but there was a fallout game here in Manitoba this year that was AWESOME! any advice on costumes would be available on that website.

Back in September there was a Fallout / apocalyptic themed game here in Calgary. Not quite as hardcore as the Russian version, but still good times.

What about making fallout 3 gun mods, I'd love to see the Infiltrator or chnese assault rifle, or other stuff

hate to bump but I do want to make one from Las Vegas one..

in case you don't know, in game they said that Brotherhood of steel lost to this group of trooper which known as NCR elite ranger (NCR - New California Republic) when they battle out over Power Generator plant. and reduce into mole dweller because of it.

They often armed themselves with anti-material rifle (.50 cal sniper rifle), however, sometime you will see them with their revolver gun.

I took the fallout style of the iron brotherhood for my next suit project

I altered the design since the suit needs many different application possibilities.

I have to be able to stand in for a:
- Futureristic hazmat suit (HALF LIFE STYLE)
- A early terminator (T3/b - the blockade breaker )
- a force multiplyer suit
- a Vril Guardian

etc.

I have only a few self taken shots - so you only will see a portion of it.
The suit is far from beeing finished - and it gets now really expensivesince I include cooling system - a powerback on the back - LED's etc
