Looking for Velocity Reducers.

Hello All,

I am looking for 2 velocity reducers as my G&G G4 CQB-R and my buddies G&G PM5 A5 exceed the indoor limit of 350FPS (Mine is currently at approximately 370FPS).

Now I have located them on the 007 airsoft site, though I do not wish to pay $40 when I have seen them go for $15US.

If anyone has any for sale or a location that will ship to Winnipeg that would be excellent as we are looking to game as soon as possible.

Thanks for your time.

Cheers,

ceLL

Don't quote me on this, but I was under the impression a lot of places don't allow velocity reducers because they have a tendency to fail.

Velocity reducers only work for semi auto. That's one reason they're not allowed at many games. With bursts, the first BB "breaks the seal" at the lower velocity, allowing the others out at full velocity. So they'll only be allowed in games that are limited to semi only. IMO, they're pretty useless in most situations.

Alrighty, thanks for the extremely quick responses.

I guess I will just have to grab a new spring =[...

Or maybe they could not be nazi's!!

I will give XT a call and see if they would be ok with it or what else I can do.

Cheers,

ceLL

you'll enjoy another spring much more than a reducer, that would destroy any accuracy your AEG might have

In respect to a spring, my G4 CQB-R is stock, so which one should I be looking at purchasing? For my buddy he has the PM5 A5 which is as well stock, so which spring would he require, or would it be the same?

Any further information would be appreciated.

Cheers,

ceLL

Alrighty, what would we be looking at price wise for those springs? As for installation I would not mind installing mine as I really like to take things apart and get into how they work. As for my buddy, he may want his installed for him.

P.S.: The connectors are working out awesome so far ;]

Cheers,

ceLL

Also on the plus side of a new weaker spring, you would get a little bit of an RPM increase, no?

www.mechbox.com is your friend. It'll teach you everything you need to know about taking your gun apart and putting it back together.
