And if you can't find any of above mentioned springs or if its sold out
Get: - Modify 90 Spring: Should seat you around 330-350 FPS www.airsoftparts.ca Last edited by cbcsteve; December 8th, 2008 at 02:48.. |

A powerful battery pulls the spring back faster, but does not make it go forward faster. |

How comfortable are you disassembling your gun's mechbox? I pull my spring out all the time, takes around 30 minutes.

Besides getting a TM velocity reducer, or changing your spring... theres not much else you can do.

For Indoor games
One should not seek to maximize FPS to the limit.
300 fps is the target... 350 is the limit. Particularly in places with no mercy and 0 distance engagements... you don't need to be shooting at 350 .. 350 will cause bleeders, 350 will cause welts... I've seen guns shooing at 320 penetrate skin and lodge the bb below the skin requireing minor "home surgery" to extract. For indoor play you should be going for 270- 320 basically TM stock

Yes I was wondering that too I am not misinforming but either by coincidence of that cold day on the battery or of my crappy 8.4v that was low energy I got 328 FPS instead of my usual 340-350 FPS
But that did happen, makes no sense why, just came to terms accepting that it was a dying battery |

Ok, so where can i a) get the spring and B) have it changed?

You can place multiple layers of something like duct tape between the hop-up unit and the gearbox shell which will move the nozzle back a little bit and cost you FPS.

Yeah I got that... but I hear of guys upgrading their guns to shoot just under 350 .. for indoor.. there is no reason to upgrade a gun for indoor play.. Dex, you will need to swap out the spring.. to bring it down below 350 I had to do the same for my Cyma MP5 it shot 385 out of the box.
