Question M24 bolt problem

WHenever i pull back back my CA m24's bolt the bolt handle doesn't stay in the upward position it just swivels freely as if there was a loose screw. Do i need to tighten something or is it supposed to be like this?

Sounds like the main screw in the back of the bolt handle went loose and you lost the little ball bearings that are in the little foremost section of the bolt handle. You should open it up and find out if they are still there.

The bolt handle is supposed to rotate free. Not 360 degrees, but it won't lock up like the real one.

Yeah that is why I figured he lost the ball bearings or maybe seared the stopper that only allows it to rotate the amount that it can.

I hear the clicking sound when it's supposed to stop but then it just keeps rotating until it hits the other side of the stock.

I'd check the bolts parts to see if there is any fractures or lost peices. But I don't think this is going to be a problem for functionnality.

Do you cock the bolt the right way? Holgind the lever with your 4 fingers and pinching the bolt rear screw end with your thumb? If not, you are damaging your bolt with every pull and it will break on you, especially if the spring is upgraded.

Okay, when i got the m24 i never tightened any screws but i do pull the bolt the right way. My gun however is completely stock, and i don't have enough courage to open it up so i figure i'll use it in the winter and the tanaka M24 in the summer. Oh and thank you guys for all your help.
