My Bundeswehr Deutsches Heer loadout (1st attempt)

Hey guys,

My first attempt with a modern German loadout, I have to admit to not knowing much about the German army, so please tell me if I messed up (constructive please)

Weapon: Marui G36C + G&P G36 conversion kit

What kind of side arm would I use? A Glock?

Also was thinking of getting a secondry weapon (a back up if the G36 decides to have a temper tantrum). Could I use a G3 with this loadout? Or a MP5 or MPK?

love the set up, the only thing that bugs me is the lack of a proper military carry handle lol ( red to on top of the 3.5x , although im not sure who makes those anymore)

the MP7 is supposedly a PDW, not necessarily a side arm, Id say The Heckler & Koch P8( Aka USP ) , its replacing the P1

I do indeed have a silly amount of loadouts, it all stems from my love of all things military since I was a kid, my discovery of airsoft just gave me an excuse to actually go get these sets of kit!

I have to admit to not being to fond of Spec forces and elites, my loadouts usually represent the "Poor Bloody Infantry" aspect of soldiering, the Average Joe, not Chuck Norris. I dont think i could pull off the Delta Force/US Navy SEALs look anyway, I am not exactly built for it....

Still to come: Soviet (Afghan) Motorised infantry, Soviet Motorised infantry (3rd attempt), modern Russian, US infantry '04, NYPD SWAT (although that one wont be entirely accurate, just black BDU's with NYPD patches on!) and WW2 Panzer Grenadier.

Re: the Bundeswehr, I sold a MP7 with its holster.... maybe a bit too hasty there...

The helmet cover is indeed a Flecktarn one, about 3 British pounds from Flecktarn.co.uk, where I got most of this kit (where in fact I think most people get their modern German kit). It fits the PASGT very nicely.

Does anyone know if I can get away with using a G3? or the MP5/ MPK?

Skalnok, I have indeed looked for a red dot for the carry handle, unfortunately the conversion kit I got didnt come with one and I have scoured the web looking for it. I agree it certainly would finish the look, and looks even cooler with one.

lol i remember star used to make one but apparently they sucked ( i was looking for 2 for my g36 and g36k lol) so if i ever find a place that sells them ill pm you

Quit good impression.
But you should change the G36 double magpouches.
In the normal loadout for a Landser you have two single magpouches, because the german soldier only has four G36 mags, two on the gun and two in the magazine pouches.

With this outfit you can use a G3 without any problem, the gun ist still in use.

I assume you mean they clip the 2 mags together? Then they swap them out with the clips in the single pouches once they are dry. Makes sense I suppose.

I saw one guy at a local game with THREE G36 mags cliped together which I thought was a bit much!

Yes, they clip two mags together on the weapon, so they are able to shot 60 rounds, with only a little loss of time for reloading.
When you clip three Mags together you can't fold the stock, so this isn't trained in the Bundeswehr.

Some support units only put one in the gun and the second in the buttpack.

To answer some questions...

... the sidearm should be a H&K P8
... you can use a G3A3/A4 with Mount+Scope as a DMR, there are only a few regular G3A3 which are used by reservists and some basic educations
... the MP7A1 is mostly used by tank crews + mp and replaces the IMI Uzi
... a MP5K and a MP5A3/4 is allright for a military police outfit, a MP5SD3 for DSO/KSK

to complete your outfit I suggest the following changes...

... HKV for an G36A1
... Rail on the Carry Handle and a Z-Point for an G36A2 (EOTech is fine too, but it's not an A2 anymore)
... BW Kampfschuh 2000 (boots)
... gefechtshandschuhe (gloves)
... Hosengummis (trouser bands)
... a german kevlar helmet
... four single g36 mag pouches instead of theses double mag pouches
... the whole kts looks a bit short, the belt should be on your hip

Excellent QuiN, cheers for the parts that need doing.

A German Kevlar is going a bit far for me, so I will be sticking with the US PASGT just now (unless I can get one cheap). Anyway, I am hoping that only a trained eye could tell.

Same for the pouches, too handy for skirmishing as they are just now.

Boots are on the way, as are the gloves.

A G3A3 sounds good to me as a alternative weapon.

I have to admit to being non-plussed: what are a HKV and a Z-Point?
