Custom M4 pro-win build.

Well, she's finally assembled.

Here's a parts list:

Exterior
G&P Special Forces Metal Body
Magpul PTS MIAD Grip
G&P M4A1 Crane Stock
Kings Arms 10.5" Outer Barrel
King Arms Metal Rear Sling Adapter
King Arms 7 inch Free Floating 7" RAS
King Arms Red Dot Sight with Comp Mount
10 x KA 68 round M4 mags
Guardian Muzzle Cap
King Arms M4/M16 Metal Body Accessories Set
KA Vertical Fore Grip

Internals
Pro-Win 7mm Detachable Mechbox
Prometheus Double Torque Gear Set
Marui EG1000 Motor
Prometheus Non-Liner Spring MS120
Mad Bull 6.03mm Tightbore Barrel - 363mm
Modify Enhanced Cylinder
Modify Polycarbonate Piston head
Modify Cylinder Head V2
9.6V Battery

Eventually I'll be putting a full length barrel on there, but for now the tracer unit silencer will cover the 363mm inner barrel.

Took about $1400 and 30 hours of work to get everything to fit just right, but it's worth it.

So everything for my M4 project finally came in, that's today's project.

Here's the parts unassembled:

Here's it partway through:

More pics will come as the day goes on, and it nears completion, and at the end I'll give a full parts and price list.

Lol I love how there's a hammer in the second picture.

I'll have to come take a look when it's done.

Damn that's sweet; I concur with Styrak, I'll have to come see it sometime. Are you planning on keeping the two-tone thing you've got going there?

Shes going to be a very purdy build when shes done, for now she sits as 84 pieces on my kitchen table.

Yup, eventually I'm going to get some dark earth rail covers.

I just wish it would assemble my gun for me. In the last 12 hours, I haven't finished the initial build. I still have to do some more grinding on the metal body, finding a way to eliminate the wobble in the KA outer barrel, make the necessary modifications to the magpul grip, wire on the motor connector tabs, and a ton of other stuff.

Took me 4ish hours to get the gears shimmed the way I like it and the mechbox assembled.

Also, my selector plate spring popped out, and I can't find it. So that's horribly frustrating.

Just keep telling myself, it'll be worth it.

a good way to find lost tiny springs on the floor is to get a small strong magnet tied to a string.
then spin the magnet on the string slowly around the work area, you should find it.

Or use your tac lite to sweep the floor at floor level, anything that casts a shadow is a possible lost object. It works trust me.

That would work great!

Except Cushak smashed a jar of saskatoon berrys under the table. After we cleaned that mess up we wrote the spring off as MIA.

All together this cost less than a bare bones PTW, including ten mags!

Ya, I felt stupid about the Saskatoon berry jar, it fell when I pulled the table away from the wall to try to search for the spring.

If anybody has a spare selector plate spring, please let me know.
