AI Propane adaptor problem
Hey, I ended up getting a AI propane adaptor a couple a weeks ago and all of a sudden when I try to put gas into my GBB is goes all over the place... I ended up putting on the duster adaptor and it works fine now.....I’m pretty sure that the propane adaptor tip isn’t bent? just wondering if this has happened to anyone???? my GBB is a KSC USP .45.....
Thanks Peter

Sorry, I don't know witch version it was. It was some one els,s AI adaptor I used. but when I used my green gas it filled fine. It looked like the AI adaptor stem hole was a cunt hair bigger then the green gas stem hole.

Had the same problem with my AI adapter. It worked fine for a couple of weeks, but eventually the plastic tip got all mangled and gas would be spraying all over the place when I tried to fill my mags. I too had to put the duster adapter on it to "fix" it. That lasted a few weeks till it started happening to the duster tip too. IMO, the plastic is just too soft.
I ended up picking up a Madbull propane adapter, and haven't have a problem with it since.

Well, I don't know what to say. I wasn't using any excessive force to fill my mags. I made sure that I put the adapter straight into the mag to put equal pressure all around as to not damage one side more than the other, etc. I really don't think I was using it improperly or using excessive force.
Then one day the propane bottle fell off my desk and the propane adapter broke. So I tried the all metal Madbull adapter. I've had it since late December, filled shitloads of mags with it, and haven't had the slightest problem with it. I'm happy with this one. Both the original propane adapter and duster adapters that came in that package wore out in no time. Yet, I bought another duster adapter separately, and lo and behold, it's held up fine. It's seen a lot of propane use and several cans of duster gas and hasn't show the slightest bit of wear. I honestly think I just got a bad set the first time around with weak plastic.

At TTAC3 the house gas that we supply has always had an AI adapter. Never had any real issues. Short of loosing the dam things.
(thanks for the nice bright red one Carl :P ) |
