AK scope and mount

Well I found a website selling Russian optics, and they are also selling mounting plates.

http://tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/bstmounts.html

I'm looking at the 74MP, should I get this and mount it to a metal body, or do they sell any airsoft specific ones such as the ones on the ICS. I've looked through websites selling parts and ICS parts and haven't had any luck.

P.s The optics are listed on the same website.

The dovetail scope mount on my ICS is smaller than it's real steel counterpart, and as such does not allow for mounting of optics.
There are airsoft specific mounts, but imho you are better off using a real steel piece. Mounting it on the body may pose a problem depending on how straight one's hands are.

Well the way they appear to mount, they seem to form around the three rivets on the side of the receiver, so I guess if I put it on, and mark the areas for the holes, I could probably use the real steel.

FYI-you can adjust the RS mount to fit perfectly on the ICS. You just have to romove the lower tab, screw it in, and it will fit like OJ's glove

I was already given that link in a PM and will probably buy from them, but they don't seem to sell scope mounts, and this is going to be going onto the metal body of a TM, not an ICS.

I've mounted a RS russian POSP scope on my CA no problem. It is pretty tight though. I have the RS mount, but didn't have to put it on thankfully.
