Battery charger ?
Just bought A G&P M4, and now I'm looking for a charger for the battery. Attached pic shows the battery wire connector end. Where would one find a charger for this ? Anywhere in the GTA ? RC car battery charger ?
Cheers *edit* Ok so I can't add an image here like in the selling forms. Its a two pronged connector, one is vertical, other is horizontal. And about the side of the end of your thumb.

I have deans but I think they might be fakes because the real deans are very expensive and on ebay the fakes/clones sell for dirt cheap in packs of 10's and 50's. I think I got 10 pairs for $15 total shipping included.
Anyhow the fakes or clones might not be gold plated (mine are though) but the problem (with the fakes) is that the plastic or abs material they used will melt if you do not solder quickly which causes the deans leads to move and not couple correctly (too hard to push together or too loose) when you plug them in to the connector! I used a adjustable temp iron and they solder fine without melting. so use a low temp iron when soldering fakes and the plastic won't melt. Also watch one of many good videos: YouTube - How to solder Deans Ultra I'd love to see the hobby hobby price for one pair of deans ultra, probably $5+ taxes. Yikes. female deans goes on battery leads btw.

Theres nothing wrong with the G&P deans, they work great and they even did a pretty good job of soldering them. They're NOT gold plated however and they're not loose, but they do come apart easier than gold plated deans.
And I use a pirahna digital peak charger, works fantastic and only 60$ http://www.beatyourtruck.com/images/pirahna-2.jpg |
