Retractable cord dealies

lol anyone know the proper term for those retractable cord things that u attatch ur keys to? Also if theres one out there that would support the weight of an Mp5k or something of roughly the same size. Thx.

Well, in the fly fishing world they are referred to as "Zingers" or "Retractors." Your MP5 might be a bit heavy as the biggest ones are designed to hold nets, which, though made out of hardwood, probably don't weight more than a pound.

What are you planning on doing with it, anyway? As a sling, it'd be pretty ghetto and most likely turn you into a mockery magnet; you'd probably want one of those bungee slings or something instead.

well my idea was u could attach some small smg (mp5k sized) then attach that to the back of ur vest or something like that (belt draw maybe). or am i just being ridiculous lol

I have one, the only thing I use it for is for a bic lighter that attaches to a ring thats on the shoulder of my vest. Quick and easy access for when you need fire. Since Im a chain smoker, I always need fire.
