TM P226 Metal Body Kit
Does anybody know where i can find a TM P226 Metal Body Kit in Canada? Even better, In a local airsoft shop in Vancouver area?
Or can I order the body kit from USA(will customs allow the body kit through)? Or... should i just save my money and buy a fullmetal KJW P226? Only problem i have with this option is that i have read some bad reviews about the KJW and some good ones too so it is kind of a risk. Thanks guys |

Just to let you know, a metal body kit for a TM P226 will cost almost as much as a KJW P226. Landed in Canada, it will cost more than one. Also, no, customs will not let a pistol frame through. They will let a slide through, however.

I got my P226 metal kit thru Jugglez at www.airsoftparts.ca. He brought me in a Guarder frame, slide and barrel, recoil spring. A few other odds and ends. He has a 100% positive rep from what I've read and have personally bought from him on multiple occasions. As for the metal kit, it looks and feels kick ass. Full trademarks, good weight, etc. As for firing, without upgrading valves (which I didn't do), I think you may be disappointed. I can't get thru a full mag before I run out of gas. When I do empty a mag, the slide only occasionally locks back. Again probably due to the lack of additional upgrades. I use my stock TM P226 as my secondary, even though I have the metal one. If you do it, think about the full meal deal as far as upgrades go.
