eHobbyAsia and their BDUs
http://stores.ebay.com/eHobby-Asia-A...QQftidZ2QQtZkm
What do you think guys of eHobby's bdus they are rather cheap but what about quality? Are they acceptable? I know this is nothing to do next to Crye, but.. are they worth the money? thanks! I may be lookin' for a marpat set for cheap, since I'm not a Gear-o-holic |

This is the set I purchased: http://cgi.ebay.com/German-Army-Wood...QQcmdZViewItem. A comparison to the real issue: Material: Real issue: 65% Baumwolle & 35% Polyester Ehobby Asia issue: 80% Banmolle & 20% Polyester Feel: Real issue: Soft and warm as cotton Ehobby Asia issue: Feels like Polyester/Canvas, rough on skin Issue date: Real Issue: 1995 Flectarn Ehobby Asia issue: States 1991 however when asked they stated that this is a reproduction of that years issue. Sizing: Real Issue: XL - fits me just fine as I am 6'4" tall 210lbs Ehobby Asia issue : XL - fits more like a large, cannot wear as it fits to small. I hope this information helps. Personally I would stick to the real deal!!!

Its true, the BDU's off ehobby are barely passable for me. I ordered XL and it fit my friend who is a large perfectly. Also that whole canvas thing is really true as well.

Its all rothco and chinabrand, Just buy real BDU's, they're propper color, they'll last longer, and they're close if not cheaper than the chinabrand ones

For that price, you can almost purchase real ones from Tru or Propper...depends on what kinda camo youre looking for though

* AV Status REVOKED *

And the conclusion is...continue to buy from eHobby Asia but forget about the BDU's

Check your local army surplus, too, depending what you're looking for; stuff like Woodland, 3 Color and Fleck are commonly available and some surplus stores carry repro ACU and Marpat MCCUUs (look for the ones by Propper, they're the best for repro. Avoid RothCo and stuff, its shitty).

Depends where you shop. And compared to the eHobby repros @$50 per top or bottom (you may have noticed it's $20-$25 + $25 shipping) it's cheaper (New Proppers should be about $40 per piece, and around here the guy will cut you a deal if you buy a set).
