Vltor Mur 1 Upper Receiver

I would like to purcase a Vltor Mur 1 upper from WGC shop. And am wondering if it will make it across the border in the past i have been tolled that you can not ship recivers over the border.
But have recently been tolled otherwise due to the fact that it is sold as just the upper receiver.

Is this ture????

The question has been debated lately. Technically it should just be the lower, but CBSA may decide not to differentiate between upper and lower receiver.

Either way WGC is sold out, and this was a limited production run, so it no longer matters.

An upper receiver should be fine. I don't know what Amos is talking about. It's not a restricted item.

it has been done, but you might get into trouble, the CBSA like to get their share of some money...and a real hasle to get it, if you want to try, I know some person in the US can modify one for you......

The CBSA and RCMP have been communicating about this lately. If you have a restricted PAL, and own a registered AR, no problems importing most parts. But if you don't, you might be asked why you are ordering a real upper for a gun you legally don't have, or do you?

In Canada, no problem. You don't even need ID. Bringing it across the border is a different matter entirely.

If it's an airsoft upper, I wouldn't worry about too much. But if it is in-fact a real upper, different story. Lowers, forget it either way.

And Leblanc, did you buy that MUR/LaRue from Titliest?

$1200 U.S. though, it's a little bit beyond your run-of-the-mill, that's for sure. At least he sold the mount, so it's not $1500 anymore.

Sorry, I erred. It's $1250 + 3% Paypal plus shipping.

the one from Titliest is still for grab, It came close to purchase it, but i slept on it and I wasn't 100% comfortable importing that receiver/barrel... however, looks like I did the right thing, because someone had already imported an MUR, so without hesitation I purchased it, a bit pricy, but well worth the investment...and KOS, if I deciede to sell it, I know who to ask

just follow the cookie crumb and you'll will find the source to the one who can make one for you....but if someone would purchase Titleist setup, man, that is pretty sweet...he even has the outer barrel attached I beleive...

Finally got mine...the fit is perfect and so is the cylinder, looking at the workmanship, it seems achievable on duplicating the trimmed area on my high-speed lathe.

...check it out in my collection gallery... at

Oh baby I want one of those...I was looking into getting a Larue handguard too so getting a real steel upper would make things alot easier. I dont use a PTW though...are they able to fit marui type gearbox/lowers?
