Fake Bullets?

Where is everyone getting their bullets from?
Are they real or fake? I've seen some pics that some guys have their bullets beside their gun with rifle pointed and 9mm.
Don't you need a license to buy real ammo?

at any case alot of ppl here collect real steel too, so that might account for the bullets in the pics

My local gun store requires you to have a PAL or POL before they will sell you ammo. But on a stupid note, they will sell you reloading supplies without a PAL or POL.

You need to show your PAL to buy ammo these days, and a lot of us have the real versions of our airsoft guns.

You can also buy ammo that has been assembled with no powder or primers, or make that yourself with the right tools.

Oh wow thanks. I went to Bass Pro shop, and they had some nice looking rifle bullets for pretty cheap. But I didn't bother asking since I thought you need a license.

Where can I buy some with no gun powder?

during my teenage years when I was not thinking straight, we used to take bullets and place them into anvils, then, lightly take the bullet part off from the shell, very carefully and not facing the bullet but away, actually it got shoot a few times because we where being to fast....very stupid...now you can purchase them without any powder inside, I saw Dave's surplus had quite a few a while back....

What I did was I got a friend of mine with a PAL to order in 500 rounds of 5.56x45 and belt link, then we'll just the correct tool to empty the cases of gunpowder and 'disarm' the primer. So after alot of work we'll have 500 rounds of disarmed ammo and a pile of gunpowder. All for less than buying fake bullets!

You talk really nicely to someone who reloads ammo and has the right tools to do it. Or you buy the tools, the brass and the bullets, then do it yourself.
Or you use google to find if anyone near you does it.
Or hang out at gun shows.
Or ask around a real gun range. What calibers are you looking for? Some are easyer to find than others.

This is all common-sense, just do some research.

It's also a lot easyer if you are over 18... People who reload bullets are not always the type to sell to anyone underaged.

Oh I see, that's a hell lotta work just to get bullets. I'm looking to get 5.7 x 28 mm... But, anything close is fine or anything that looks like it. Doesn't matter to me that it HAS to be the exact one..

Who sells bullets on this forums? 1$ each is not much to me. I've seen army store keychain bullets for 3.99$ looked like a revolver bullet and a I had a glimpse which was a REM.
