Hi-Capa racegun v2

Ok this time I added a Hakko MkII Panorama sight with a scope mount and a custom left-handed thumb rest. I also added a shooters design grip and magwell, which I painted black. I painted the double diamonds and the STI coin on the grip black to keep with the overall dual tone nature of the gun. The neat thing about the freedom art frame is that it comes with a scope mount that not only sits low on the frame, it also has a slot running through it that allows you to use a slide that has a fixed front sight.

Here's a close-up of the thumbrest while I was still using the koba grip and burris setup:

I admit the thumbrest isn't that easy on the eyes, but it does its job pretty well. I'm currently working on a thumbrest made of clear plexiglass, will post pics of how that turns out.

Is the thumbrest made of Lego?

The gray grip makes the huge magazine stand out a lot.

Could you perhaps qualify precisely what it is that makes the grip's sexual orientation an issue here? There's no mag visible in those pics.

It looks like a Shooters Design DOM mag well. It's quite large compared to others but it really does make reloading considerably faster. Muscle memory and practice help most but the mag well makes small misplacements much more forgiving.

Ahhh crap. You're right. My apologies to ProbeJax - leaving my post unedited for posterity. :P You know how you read something enough in enough posts and it kind of gets stuck in your head? Yeah... no excuses.

In that case I wholeheartedly agree. The contrast is rather striking... I have a two-tone colour scheme on my InfiniCapa for that very reason. Shiny slide and receiver, black grip, shiny mag well.

sexy para, not a fan of IPSC guns though =[ I like this one though. none of that lightning blue colouring that makes you look like a paintballer.
