Interest Check: Illuminating (white) Parachute Flares
I've received confirmation that in addition to another 100 smoke grenades, we have access to 4,000 white illuminating paraflares from our supplier. These should be the same as the red paraflares I have listed in the Parts/Accessories Sales Forum but burn white for illumination rather than emergency signaling. They would be a much better alternative for night games as they will provide a higher light output and not have the potential for false distress alarms.
I'd like to see what the interest is in these before committing to any quantity. I don't have pricing yet because that will depend on how many we order, which I understand is a double edged sword but I suspect we can get them for a similar price to the red ones which is around the $10 mark. Available to 18+ ONLY with ID as per the Explosives Act. NO exceptions. Please post up if you're interested so I can get an idea on how many we should look at purchasing. Thanks! I would love some white flares. Sounds great.
Count me in for at least 10, but i'm sure once the local guys around here find out about it that'll get close to 100. (We love our pyrotechnics around here) |

How far do they fire up in the air. The problem i found with emergency type paraflares is they go way to high up in the air. On a breezy night you never know where theyre going to end up.

Ohhh man. These would be sweet for Nighttime WW2 games. You should ask the reenactors if they would be interested. (Not sure if pyro is allowed here though)

Definitely in for some, quantity depends on price of course but I'd start at 10-20 or so. As well as smoke, I'd love some more. Whatever happened to the last order?

As it turns out, someone at the shop sold off a bunch of the smokes without knowing they were for sale on here. Sorry about that, hopefully we'll get enough in to go around this time!
Height on these flares is usually stated as 1000 feet. However as with all pyrotechnics, unexpected things can happen and users should be prepared and equipped accordingly. |

I've confirmed today we have 2,000 units on order. They should be shipping next week. They'll be in the Exchange with pricing once they arrive!
