Casual gaming?
I know a lot of you are pretty engaged airsofters, but my question is, do you always have games where you go in full gear (this is excluding safety gear) such as army slacks, vests, the visual 'enhancement' clothing I should say.
In other words, do any of you every once in a while just go airsofting in something like some cargo pants a t shirt maybe gloves and safety gear? Nothing fancy? Or do you always airsoft in your full attire?

What you where is up to you. Some ppl do wear Jean and a T-Shirt.
Most of the weekly field games are just skirmishes anyways where your kit won't matter much. Personally I just like getting kitted up makes me feel good! |

A game is an excuse to get all (or at least most) of your kit on. You don't need it though.

I have a habit of ditching kit... When I rush some one with a pistol I'll ditch my webbing/hydration pack and rifle
Most of the time I keep my kit really light... unless we're doing to have a very long game (which I haven't had the pleasure of taking part in yet) |

In the summer I'll just use pants and a t shirt or wife beater... But that's only because I hate being hot.

The Mill is a game where you can just show up in jeans and a sweater and your
AEG. Beauharnois! There might be a game there in the near future! I heard a little spy talkin about it

My entire team is comprised of casual airsofters. We have a team camo but no set team gun, no defined team gear, and we never chide someone for not showing up dressed to the nines. In fact, to be on the team you pretty much have to have that relaxed attitude; we're not into the whole hardcore thing with ranks and looking identical, etc.
What we've found is looking alike and dressing like a professional soldier has little to do with how much ass you kick. |

I think my teammate defined casual gaming when he showed up in cargo pants and a hawwaian(SP?) shirt with a vest on top of it.

How much gear you wear is only a reflection of how much money you put into the game, not how good you are.
You should only ever wear gear that you're comfortable in. If you're uncomfortable in a piece of gear, even if everyone says it's "high speed" or whatever, don't use it, plain and simple. I like my entire kit, but there have been time when I've wanted to play in a sweater and ball cap instead of BDU and CIRAS. If I had gotten the chance, I would have. Who cares what other people think? It's all about what you want. |

+1 above
I do take all but I recently changed my kit to make it minimal, just dump pouch, chest rig and kneepads. I always wear gloves whatever the temp is...
