muzzle break for RK-104

does anyone knows how to take the muzzle break/flash hiders from the g&g rk-104?, I managed to moved the locking pin and twist a little but I am damaging the muzzle break with my plyers and I almost broke the hand guard rest... which way do I have to turn to loosen it out...your help will be greatly appreciated

wow, thank you for the quick response, ok I will try that; however, now I have some huge teeth marks on the mussle now...what do you suggest, sandpaper then paint?.....

I suggest better work ethics, for one.

If the scratches aren't deep you can try sandpaper. Super fine grit sandpaper (automotive type), not some 600 grit wood sanding stuff.

If the scratches are deeper, you'll have to grind the area clean (dremel or small grinder), but then you'll end up with pits or smooth grooves so you'll need to fill it in with Bondo or JBweld putty and then sand that smooth (again, super fine grit). But honestly, if your plier scratches are this deep from trying to remove a flash hider, I'd think twice before attempting this: it might end up looking worse after than with just the scratches.

And finally you'll want to repaint. I suggest a flat black epoxy finish. All the usual painting rules apply.
