AK 47 Stock Issue
I purchased an AK47 receiver so that I could convert my AK47S into an AK47. A problem arose quickly when I purchased a KA 74 stock thinking that it would work and it didn't. I then bought an actual AK47 stock and surprisingly it didn't work. One of my airsoft buddies pointed out to me that the connection points to connect the receiver to the stock are on the sides and not the top and bottom which is how the stocks I've seen so far connect. Is there any stock supplier that would have what I'm looking for or would I have to buy another receiver and sell my current one?
Look forward to your suggestions |

The connection points on the receiver are on the sides, and the connection points on the stock are on the top and bottom, that is the way it should be. There is a metal piece that sits between them, sounds like you're missing that piece.
Cheers, Alex

Did you get that receiver with stock tang? I'm talking about piece of metal that sits where stock should be attached? Can you post pics of that receiver? I've never seen regular AK47 receiver when stock attaches on the sides.

You definitely need a stock tang. My KA receiver didn't come with one either.
Here's what you need: http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct...sp?prodid=6555 Cheers, Alex

Pretty sure you will have to order from overseas yourself or look around in classifieds for group orders.

Last post, second item. I think that's the part you're looking for. |
