What is this mag attachment?
I'm really interested in the TM Hi-Capa 5.1 (and 4.3) I absolutely hate how the mag sticks out in the 5.1, that's why I'm considering the 4.3. However, I like the overall look of the 5.1. As I was searching on redwolf, I came across a discontinued product here: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=22219 and I was wondering if anyone knows what that silver mag attachment is and where I can find it. This should cover up the only one flaw (to me) of the 5.1.
Also, totally unrelated, I heard that to decock the gun, you need to dry fire, which is the part that wears down? Can I get a replacement metal part for it so this problem won't arise later on? |

The silver part on the bottom of the gun is there to make inserting mags easier (wider magwell, or magwell guide you could call it).

I also believe that 4.3 mags work in 5.1 gun *I was told this I havent had a chance to try it yet*, u lose a few bb's in the mag but it looks nicer

That chrome thing is a "speed skirt". Acts kinda like a funnel. Believe me, when the adrenaline starts kickin' your going to REALLY appreciate this little piece of kit. |

Oh that was another question I had in mind, that's good to hear actually (well that is if it works with the TM HiCapa series)

TM 4.3 mags work just fine in a 5.1 and vice versa. The 5.1 mag has the plastic base that hides a bit longer mag body, but the main body of the mag that goes into the handle is, so far as I can tell, exactly the same. I think the capacity difference is 31 (5.1) vs 28 (4.3), which is minimal. I've found that either type of mag has enough gas for 2 full loads of BBs.
I've got a 5.1 and a 4.3 and swap the mags between them without problems. The 4.3 mag sits nice and flush, which is what I think you were looking for. If you're looking for a nice clean look, a magwell/speedwell will just make the handle look huge! Hope that helps. |

Examples of magwells installed on my Hi-Capa 5.1s:
If you can deal with the slightly added bulk of the magwell, then it's a viable solution. If you're looking for different colours, I was told the WA doublestack magwells will fit. |

redwolf has reviews on how to mod the internals to allow the decocking function. I would paste a link but I cant load their site at the moment. You should get the TM Hicapa. Its awesome and just about as accurate as a pistol within 45'. I didn't change a thing out of box other than use .23g BBs.

Wow that Infinity is sweet. Did you paint that or did it come like that? The only colours I've seen are mostly black.

I didn't paint it. I built it that way. I changed all of the external components. If you look carefully, you'll notice that none of the external components are stock Hi-Capa. The only thing that's externally stock is the rear sight and the beavertail safety, which I polished.

Oh didn't notice that before. Thanks for pointing that out. Also is that a piece of fiber optic in the front site of the gun? Anyways very nice gun.
