--Looking at getting a Aimpoint or Rifle Scope--

Hey all! As some of you may know I will be waiting until the VFC SCAR, but that aside, I will be wanting a scope of some sort for it. I dont nessesarily want to be spending a whack of money on one. I like the AIMPOINTs and ACOGs, but I really just want some advice and direction into where I should be looking and what I should know about buying one. I need to get age verified to be buying one off the classified section, but have no problem buying a new one. I would also prefer to buy a new one.

What Brands should I look at?
Where can I find one? (at a decent price)

Thanks alot guys!!

Acogs are nice, but give you shitty tunnel vision, and chances are your replica will NOT have an illuminated reticle.

Personally, I think an EOTech ,or aimpoint is more suited for airsoft use.

Ouch.

More tunnel vision would probably suck, alot.

www.airsoftparts.ca should have what you're looking for. Or message huang, he's got some nice kit.

A basic red-dot sight? Anywhere. Canadian Tire, WalMart, various sports shops. If you cant find one, you are not looking or using the yellow pages.

It's hard choice, since aiming devices with zero magnification such as an "Aimpoint" are ment to be used with both eyes opened. I would hti an event and try and speak with the peopel there so you can try different optics.

I have used an aimpoint, I am specifically looking for a replica. I found a used one here. and will most likely buy it. I have yet to hear from the seller. but nahh. its not that im not using the yellow pages or what not, i just sorta want to keep in the theme of replica and such.

Get an Aimpoint, then get an Ampoint 3x from me later :-) . You can get aimpoint everywhere, price from 30 - 80, depends on the brand, quality, with/without trades.
