Threaded barrel for TM Hi-Capa 5.1/KSC USP Compact?
Do these exist? Will the 1911 threaded barrel fit the Hi-Capa?

Tanio Koba made one... in a really nice midnight gold colouring too. But sourcing one out is next to impossible, unfortunately.
I don't think a 1911 barrel will fit a Hi-Capa either. There are some very minor differences involved. |

follow up question...PDI makes a thread adaptor with a extended length inner barrel that can be used to attached either a silencer or their compensator. Has anyone used these before and how well do they work?
Thanks |

I have one. It's a 6.01mm inner barrel, so quality BBs are required.
The adapter itself is weird... it clamps directly on to the inner barrel. So the inner barrel itself must be longer than your outer barrel for it to work. The benefit is that you get a longer inner barrel for greater groupings and higher velocities. The downside is that the weight of anything you hang off the inner barrel could cause added wear to the moving parts associated with the inner barrel. |

I think the one I am looking at is 6.04mm, though yeah I've seen the ones that got down to 6.01mm. Is the inner barrel change on the Hi-Capa easy or similar to KSC's?

Simpler than KSC Glocks, but pretty much just as many small parts.
No pins to hold the hop up / loading ramp together... just screws. And best of all, no tiny hop up bearing to lose. |
