Can I put a m16vn front grip on my a2?

I want to buy just the front grip for my a2 as I prefer the triangular vietnam style, will it drop right in? I noticed that the part that holds the front halves on my a2 are already triangular. Just wondering if its interchangeable. Thanks

you betcha! if you ha the circular one then youd have to monkey rig it, but if you already have the triangular cap, your good to go.

The complete front ends will not interchange, howeve the grips might.

Be prepare to signiifgantly modify the rear of the handgaurds, as the old, old style TM locking rings on the VN are not the same as on the A2/M4.

Can someone with a VN and a A2 check to see if the grips are interchangeable without mods?

IIRC They are not without mods. When attempting to install A2 grips on a VN, I had no luck, do to differences in the locking Mech.

i just checked with mine, worked perfectly with my tm delta ring. only thing is you must have the vn front cap (the triangular one as opposed to the cirular one)
