TM aep glock 18c hicap
I was hoping i didn't have to make a thread but ive been searching everywhere and other forums to find out, what material is the hicap glock 18c mag made of? since the standard mag is metal, i was guessing the hicap was too but it looks a bit like ABS.
Anyone care to sort this out? |

It's plastic . ABS possibly, but sturdy, mine took a little tumble out of my cross draw last night and bounced across the floor, no damage.

I thought it'd be metal like the smaller ones. What's the weight like on them?

I wonder if it fits your new Cyma g18c. I'm considering of getting the cyma version because i'd love to have dual glock 18c's. The 100 rounder is approximately the same weight of the metal mag that it comes with taking into account larger surface area would account to more gravitational pull. In my honest oppinion, the mag doesn't look like it's capable of being on the field. Like the ABS slide on my tm 18c (aep), its a thin layer of plastic that can be damaged easily if dropped. Its great for looks but not so much for CQB.

I have been using mine @XT in Winnipeg (CQB)for over a month, approx 5 games, and no issues with it yet. And like I said before, it took a fall and slid 20ish feet till it hit a wall, picked it up, looked at it, then got a quick kill with it.

my brothers is fine, doesnt have enough weight to get damaged if it falls out, and it feeds flawlessly in a cyma 030. (also note, its not really a highcap- doenst have a winding gear...

The CYMA is Marui compatible, I've got two Marui standard AEP mags and they work just fine, I love it
