Is there a real world counterpart of this?
I can see the benefits of smaller mags... other than that...why?

The benefit of being able to use a bazillion different brands of M16/4 mags?

Think about it, the mags are no longer an issue, no longer do yo need expensive mags, no longer do you need custom pouches etc.... It really just put the G36 in a whole new class....

the biggest pro is the countless gears that use the AR mag design. Its really hard to find something to hold g36 mags i found. Still id rather use the sweet locaps. I just think they should make cheaper p90 mags.

If there is no real world counterpart, this thing is a turn off.
But I sure would apreciate the benefits of using cheap M4 mags.

if you want to purchase a G36 then purchase the mags too, if you cant afford or find them, then go the M series rout.
Thats my opinion anyways

I used a G36 for about 3 years. I had 6 lowcaps and it was taking a hell of a lot of place in the vest. It took the room of 16 m4 mags.
(3 M4 mags per double G36 magpouches).

I've been thinking about picking one of those up.... the only downside to the G36 I found was the mags. However, hard to say how well that piece of kit works... if someone's getting one, let us know how it turns out... otherwise... I'll just buy one soon.

That thing's pretty cool actually. Nifty idea. Real-World counterpart or not.

Take what I say with a grain of salt because I have never been deployed over sea's or used a real G36 but as for the airsoft one.. I noticed it's really tight the mag into magwell and at the first Rawdon game I had a hard time putting in the mags because of the sand being in the magwel - as for C7/m16 you can rattle the mag couple mm's so there is space for some sand (been told it can get everywhere/into anything) so this would be a wise thing to do for real steal HKG36.

and dont want to tarnish it!
