Parts ordering from US...

As following the mantra posted in the FAQ thread, the more the part looks like a gun the less likely it'll pass custom. So would stuff like a RIS with grip be ok(I mean looking at the box it shows that's a part of a gun)? I was thinking about ordering something with the WGC bulk order but it was out of stock at WGC. I found the same thing at Airsoft Atlanta and some other US dealer as well and I am wondering if it will be ok to order from them?

It depends on how the customs officers feel that day.

I know, sucky answer, but pretty much the truth these days.

In the past I have ordered a package of RIS from the states. Even though they were real steel, it was for airsoft. Theywent though ok. But that was a couple years ago now.

Like Grey says, depends on how they fell that day. I just received and order from HK the other day with a bunch of MP5 and AUG mags, springs, gears, pistons, MP5 cocking handle and muzzle brake and they all came through ok, but a V3 gearbox shell was seized as "it is classified as a replica firearm receiver". I'm currently in "negotiations" for it's release.

The sad part is when the only advice we can give makes no sense, or about as much sense as the 'policies'.

Buy what you want from Canadian Retailers, then you know you'll get what you want. That advice always works.
