FP8 Battery

Hi guys, I've had my FP8 since May, and it hasn't been working properly for a few weeks now. As anyoen who has this gun knows, on a full battery this gun shoots pretty fast on automatic. It was time to cahrge the battery, I did, put it in the gun, and it didn't charge, at the same slow speed when I put it in the charger. For some odd reason I thought it was the gun and I looked and looked and found nothing wrong with it. I noticed though a a rip in the green outter plastic around the battery pack near the red wire. My dad knows alot about fixing electrical problems such as pumps etc and wiring things up so I am hoping he can fix it but he's out of country at the moment.

Can it be fixed? To avoid confusion, here is a picture.

Not many places I can get a new one, only place could possibly be SIR.

This battery should be the similiar size and the voltage.

What you want is a 9.6v Ni-Cad or Ni-MH Mini or SD battery pack.
It's mainly refered as a 9.6v Mini Battery Pack.

If you dont know what Ni-cad or Ni-Mah. I suggest you reading up in the FAQ section.

From reading what is labeded on your picture.

It is a 9.6v 1200MAH Ni-MH Mini Battery pack. So you will be looking for something similar. The MAH doesnt really matter. It's just the amount of battery life it has. Larger the number longer you can use your airsoft gun.
But 1200MAH is fine. As long as you dont play airsoft for a whole day.

Don't ask me about the FP8. I have no clue what it is but judging from the battery pack. It uses the same as our AEGs...
