FINALLY! finished with my latest 1911 booger, the kimber MEU (SOC) used by the USMCs. Again, the kit needed a lil more work to fit: more filing. Nifty lil thing tho once its done. Enjoy pics. =)

Prime Kimber MARSOC conversion Aluminum slide & frame set (i don't like rails)

Guarder steel outer barrel
CP custom kimber styled hammer & sear
CP trigger
Sheriff magwell
Sheriff grip screws
Simonich Black gunner grips
Some of my stuff in my toolbox in order to convert from double stacked Expert to a single stacked pistol

Very nice, Arny.

I so very badly miss my .45 whenever I see the nice ones you put together.

I love the grips - they have that "honeycomb" look.

And I must agree, this pistol looks very nice - it even LOOKS heavy.

Wow, I have a soft spot for kimbers after I did some range shooting with a real Kimber custom II. Amazing handguns. Nice work.

why do you say it's not worth the money?
I have two full metal 1911 and would not trade them any amount of plastic gun. It's just not the same thing.
