Eagle Industries Plate Carrier with Cummerbund
Does anyone here own or have wore the "Eagle Industries Plate Carrier + Cummerbund" vest?
I want to buy that as my next vest, in TAN. I need some feedback on its fitment, if it moves around too much, or like what size is suitable for 150 lbs individuals. It's out of stock right now in most of the places (sizes are limited till the next shipment from Eagle Industires). I'm guessing a lot of people are buying it, but I don't know if anyone has it here on ASC. I got my BHI Commando Recon Vest with back plate carrier right now, I'm loving it. Now I need a TAN vest  ... they look sexy... i love da color too. |

Much more comfortable and stable than the non-cummerbund version, especially when worn with plates.

I had one for a few months now its be good but some gripes about it:
-There could be more shoulder padding -The side buckles kinda digg into my lower ribs Some pro: -Cummerbund is removable so you can just use the plate section -Cummerbund is also adjustable -Theres 4 hard plate pockets (Front & Back) (2 6x6 Pockets in the cummerbund) -2 12x6 soft armor pockets hidden in the cummerbund |

Do you think I can get one of those HSGI weesatch or Paraclete shoulder pads and install it on to the Eagle plate carrier with cummerbund?
And what size should I get? Small, Medium, or Large? I am around 150 pounds. |

I highly recommend one
not as bulky as the ciras and still has a tonne of real estate I have had that rig plus both the Land and Maritime verisons of the Eagle Ciras. as for the shoulders, just buy the Eagle MLCS pads that are made for that rig to get rid of the problem.

I also have the BHI recon commando rig and compared the eagle is about 100 times better in fit, confort and real estate. You do need the extra shoulder padding and once fully loaded it tends to bite in a bit but beside that I am fully satified with my new rig. The first time it happens with US made gear... As for size i'm 6'1" and 240 pounds and the L/LX one does not leave mutch room on the adjustments.
