80's CF airborne trousers?

So I've got plans to build this kit and have some gear and the relitively rare dpm smock they used at the time.

My question is since the only pics I've been able to come across online is a couple of waist up shots, were they wearing regular od trousers with the smocks, or did they have matching trousers?

Any help is appretiated as this has been a long term project that I'd love to finally get finished.

Thanx ....concept

They wore regular old CF ODs as I recall.

I remember seeing some RCMP ERT photos with the DPM pattern trousers.

What kind of dpm though?
The colours vary in the different patterns of it n I know the CF issue was the more yellow'd (honey) coloured pattern.

Also e-mailing you now armyissue for some pics.
I've got the smock but if there's a matching shirt i haven't seen or even heard about it as of yet so I might be very interested.

There was some dpm pants issued to abn in the 70's but they were made of the same material as the smock, sort of a wind proof material.

The abn smock came in two patterns, tan dominant and reversed brown dominant. The reversed brown dominant is the more recent issue.

The regular combats that you may come across in dpm, both the shirt and the pants are overflow from a contract that Peerless garments produced for the Tanzanian Army in East Africa in the mid 1970's. The Canadian Forces have never worn these items as standard issue.
Checking the inside of the pants or the shirt you will find that there never was a tag in them as usually is the case with CF gear, containing the Nato stock number. The base material, however, is the same as the regular pine-green combats.
If you happen to come across this stuff, it is starting to become pretty rare.

The dpm on these combats is very close to that worn by the Dutch Marines.

If anyone's interested. Westley's Surplus in New West has one small size DPM combat shirt. It is the Canadian trial issue and has light signs of use. I think it was $60.
