if you like ICS then check out the S3 series. i picked up the komodo and i am very happy with it. please check carefully. S3 series is an update. there is a komodo and a komodo S3.
mine is canadian spec. shoots 445fps out of the box. will probably settle down to 435. holds a 12" spread at 170 feet. 10 rounds. you can probably reach out and tag someone firmly up to 200 feet. i shoot 28's. i think it might be in the same price range. if not then go to the carbine. same everything except hand guard. slightly lower price point. -k |

I am using it. I enjoyed the easy to work with split gearbox. The rifle is full metal and is solid. I have did a lot of internal upgrades as the stock internals are sub-par. I also ended up getting a second set of upper gearbox and upper receiver / rail combo for outdoor games.

I have it. ICS-221. M4 Tubular RAS S. Love it. Easiest v2 I have ever worked on. It's not perfect though. Pistol grip can only be replaced by other ICS pistol grips and the air nozzle is not the same length as TM m4 air nozzle. The SHS AK LONG airnozzle works perfectly. Buffer tube is stoock, you might not be able to add rear sling attachment point. I was able to put on a repro magpul ctr stock and it was a snug fit.
