Howard Leight as ear protection

I want to get something to prevent BBs shooting at my ears and was wondering if the Howard Leights will be able to take BB hits up to 450 fps. I've been looking at these models and wondering if anyone has experience being shot at with them on and if there were any significant damages done to the earmuffs:

Repeated 450fps at close range? Not likely.

They are well built. But not built like MSA or Peltor.

The Impact Sport are a very commonly used electronic ear pro option. I've seen them used by ALOT of guys in American shooting videos including some "celebrity" videos. I have a pair, I like em alot. Not the same as Peltor, MSA, or TCI.. But good for the price

I don't expect to get shot at repeatedly at point blank at the ear... I hope. If they can take a couple of BBs without being damaged severely that would be nice. Just want something to protect my ears incase they get hit. Were your impact sports able to take a few hits though leth?

How do you protect the rest of your face?

A mesh mask with ear covers seems to be a simpler fix.

Get sordins or just a huge mesh protection system.
If you have a helmet, you can make ear cowlings from mesh.

I've tried the ear covered mesh mask. It feels really uncomfortable on me. I use a helmet, ESS goggles and a half face mesh mask without the ear covers and they all feel snuggly on me.

Just asking about how well they do against BBs since I want to build a helmet system like this:
