WE MP5's
So whats the status of the WE MP5's?
last I heard they were garbage with the charging handles breaking after a few hundred rounds, trigger boxes failing and the like. Have they gotten better? Are there after market parts available now that WONT destroy the body? Whats up in the we mp5's?

Everywhere I look says vfc is utter garbage until you put a down payment of a house into it. Is there a new version that doesnt pound sand? How would you even know when you are buying it if it was or not?
Im referencing the GBB version, as aeg is for noodle arms.

If you think that WE is 2x worse mate.
They are fine, just get the newest versions. |

Again, how would you even know what the new gen was. Its not like most retailers say if its a new or old gen on their sites.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

Never heard anybody whos actually had a WE MP5 say its shit
Personally i've had both an MP5 and MP5K and theyve both been fastastic, durable internals, very very reliable, never cooldown or run out of gas, and shoots well with nice high capacity 45 round mags, also the stamped steel bodies are extremely nice |

butthurt for not having a user title
|
Would you say they're more of a 'once in a while'/ 'just for shits' gun, or are they nice enough to run on the regular?
I've heard rumors about off-sized mags and such, can you speak to that? If I'm running it in CQB it doesn't need to be a laser gun to be effective, so my only real hangup between the WE and the VFC is how close to the real thing it is in terms of handling. |

AFAIK Gen 1 had the most problems, Gen 2 + are the routes you want to go for VFC. I've heard the WE's are fine, I was just bashing WE I know noob had the A4 and MP5K, but
considering they are 499-600 for a WE, you may aswell get a VFC for the same price, but that's my opinion. http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=136793 http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/in...arex-licensed/ |

Off topic.....
MP5, I've never owned one but I did handle the k model since day one they had it landed in Canada. How was it? Not bad for the finishing and weight. Performance? I didn't even test firing it. But based on WE products these days, I would have no doubt they are pretty good for this price point and veriaty of model choices. MP5 is not many gbb models in the market. Marushin, VFC and WE. Marushin is good but may not good for our propane gamer. WE has the three round burst and VFC doesn't, VFC has the full trade stamp but WE doesn't. VFC around 600 and WE around 500. But for my own opinion is that, GBB is alway a GBB, could have their problems or issues. Like dimensions fitting may not always 100% work perfectly, or cause the cold down effect too, this also depends on the user preferences, indoor? Outdoor? Temperature? Even lube and maintain care base? And as all we know, in Canada using gbb for outdoor has limited time. Also indoor in winter, better to have 12C or higher to maintain the performance. Based on the all the factors, hope it can help you to decide if the WE would be your best choice. Not just all based on the threads or who said that, blah blah blah! As last, bit not the least , my friend has a RS shotgun, it wasn't eject shell smoothly till after 3-500 pump. May be that's what we call the "break in"?

It is Maruzen, not Marushin, who produce MP5K. I have the limited edition with RIS, Walther trade mark tactical lights with mount, and a detachable silencer with inner barrel.
This barrel was very unique considering it was before the time of G&P Rapid Fire and Angry Gun's power-up silencer. I have test fired it only (with duster), but response is good, shoot straight and hard, not much cool down effect, blown black is also crispy. And the parts seem to be quite durable. I would say it is ideal for indoor CQB or outdoor side arm. |
