Stubby killers.

I'm in the market for a stubby killer. Or a very very short m4. Preferably plastic bodied such as the echo 1 troy cqc or the ares amoeba 007. My friends have warned me about the proprietary parts of an ares. So I'm trying to avoid it if I can. But there doesn't seem to be much to choose from right now with the common retailers or in the classifieds. I wouldn't mind one of those stockless m4 pistols but I think those battery peq boxes are ugly.

Does anyone have any experience the with ares amoeba design specifically? It's also that long honey badger thing if you know anyone with one of those. I've looked for youtube reviews but they're mostly big name companies just advertising. If an ares amoeba proprietary component of the gearbox fails, can I put a regular tm spec gearbox in?

Thanks.

Your best bet would be the VFC guns, They make 3 or 4 the Stinger,Baby and Dagger (Stubby models) to Name a few all Standard Version 2 Mechboxes and parts and Can be had around the 350$ price point and all are full metal bodies my 2 cents.

As delicious as a vfc would be, I'm hell bent on plastic. Purely for it's weight.

My 2 "Stubby Killers"

The one with RIS is G&P with full Stubby Killer markings.

The other one is built from Mad Bull Patriot Kits with a HK 416 receiver.

Both serve me well and I have a lot of fun. Cheers!

ics cxp pistol

the plastic version is inexpensive. I run the metal version, its pretty much the same except for the motor (but I think that was only the early versions and now they both use the 3000 ics motor... i think...)

The nice thing about it, its easy to add a stock adapter ($10) if you ever want it to stop being just a AR pistol...

and no peq box needed the handguard fits a nunchuck, so lipos wont be a problem to fit in it either

I orginally bought it as a backup gun, I loved the idea of a backup that wouldnt take up as much space in a backpack... but the performance and range for such a small inner barrel led me to slap a stock on it and run it as my primary
