This one is used on free-floating RAS units.

You can't just pop it onto standard RIS or RAS II units. The mounting mechanism of the free floating RAS is totally different in that the entire railed handguard is one piece, whereas standard RIS, RAS, and RAS II units have seperate uppers and lowers.

yeah, i will be selling it shortly actually. ... as an entire kit.

the kit is useless without it.

I have another one for sale in a carbine (180mm RAS) free-floating kit.

See my sales thread for details.

The one in your attached image actually looks like the one for the G&G M4 SD kit.

It's definitely not the LayLax one. The LayLax one looks shorter.

so you are saying it is not interchangeable with the one i have on my m4 ris? also, have you seen the G&P ones for sale separate of the conversion kits?

thanks

EDIT: Nevermind, the one from First Factory is meant to fit my gun

First of all, it might be helpfull to know exactly what you're application will be.

If your looking to fit it to a stock TM RIS, or grips... it aint gonna work. G&P sells it part of conversion kits because the included frontends will work with it. The Delta Ring alone is usless without the corresponding frontends.

ok thanks. i wanted it purely for aesthetics. i love the look.

the one from first factory for example look that they are meant as and add on accessory and not as part as a conversion kit as can be seen here. click here!

G&P and Classic Army both makes that delta ring... it's meant for the free floating RIS that they sell.

yeah, the first factory is meant to fit TM RIS. go for that if that's the general "look" you want. It just won't perform the same way as the actual conversion kit.
