Cut off lever or switch assembly?
Ive run into this issue twice now - both working on lonex gearboxes.
Full auto fires perfectly, safety works just fine - semi fires once and what appears to be a full cycle but the trigger locks however; if I push the trigger forward after its single cycle I can fire again. After each trigger pull in semi I do have to push the trigger forward. All tests done in the receiver. My knowledge leads me to believe most semi issues are related to the cut off lever - im currently using a zci v2 lever and have also tried a stock dboys that I had on hand. I am using a blue shs v2 switch assembly..I have also read about fitment issues with this particular brand of switch. Thoughts? |

did you change anything recently?
the usual cutoff problems usually create double or triple shots in semi or full blown auto if it's not working properly. The odd time the cutoff interacts strangely with the trigger shuttle and causes the shuttle not to reset properly onto the gun trigger, but usually it will lock and not reset till you open the gearbox. I have not had any success with the shs trigger contacts for that exact issue. Even when matched to an shs cutoff lever.

Baahhh...its a ground up build actually.
I was having those issues you described to a t with the zci cut off lever - so I switched to the dboys and got my above results - figured it was some what progress? Sadly no other switch assemblies on hand. |
