Madbull propane adapter
Has anyone tried the madbull one? or Tactical Crusader? If so, how does it compare to AI adapter? Like in terms of longevity, leaks, etc
Thanks |

I have the red madbull one had it about 3 years now. came with a gun so im guessing it was used before that as well. dosnt have a leak at all works great I cant complain. plus you can add silicone oil in it which is cool. I like it and the AI both good options.

I had the original AI adapter (metal, two part v1) for years, it was great; until I accidentally knocked my propane bottle off a table and it landed nozzle first
By then all the AI adapters were plastic and I went through two of em (under normal use, no propane bottle swan dives or anything) in less than two seasons. The tip of the probe developed a crack/chip on both, eventually splitting or breaking. Looking for a metal adapter, I got the Madbull one with oil port (which had just come out at the time). I've been using it for about 5 years now, I think. I've been using GBBRs only for the past 3 years, so its being used for more than just the odd pistol mag now and then. Very happy, no complaints. The oil port is sorta handy when you have a lot of mags to fill but its not particularly faster/easier than just unscrewing the whole adapter so its not vital.

I have 2 madbull ones (lost one, got new, then found old one) and I like them just fine. Have an ai one too but just seem to prefer the madbull one. I don't use the oil port though. Just oil under the adapter or oil the tank

have the madbull one with the oil valve. I had the plastic AI one before but one fall from basically not even my car seat to the ground caused it to leak.
I've since dropped the madbull one on the tank tip first and it still works. Sealing while filling can be a bit trickier than the plastic, but it just takes a bit more finesse to line things up to seal properly.

+1 for the madbull metal adapter, been using mine since 3-4 years if not more, I run GBB-Rs 100% of the time I play
