Question MK18 Mod 0 Parts

ohaider.

I am in need of certain particular parts to complete my MK18 MOD 0!

However, I need suggestion and help of obtaining these certain parts.

Any retailers or users that could help me with these parts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (or if you have them for sale)

Needs to be in DE preferably!

So my list of needs (for GBBR)

- Silencer (Madbull but which one @_@) also can't find any in stock :x (do want one that can go ontop of flash hider)
- Stock
- Grip pistol grip?

Open to suggestions please. Really want quality parts, hopefully ASC community will know where to get them.

Madbull does not make that silencer.

All you need is a regular birdcage flash hider to clip this on.

The stock is a run-the-mill CRANE, again, you can pick which ever you want.
Pistol grip is a regular A2-style grip. It's the stock grip on most airsoft M4s/M16s.

Thanks for the suggestions,

Isn't the CYMA and 5KU Brands pretty bad though? (not very knowledgeable on brands for parts)

Hit or miss.
But for a trivial part like a silencer, that you will probably paint anyways (it does not exist in DE), quality won't make a big difference.

For a stock i'd personally recommend a VLTOR IMod Stock

Hmm okay, fair enough. Thanks for the input. CYMA > 5KU or are they on par?

Thanks for the input, they look quite nice actually and comfortable. Know of any places to purchase these?

VFC makes the best versions of all the parts you're looking for.

They are hard to find but well worth it - their NT4-QDSS is simply sublime.

I have the KAC suppresor in the link there, it doesn't stay on the flash hider very well. I suggest almost glueing it.

Also, even though the barrel of a mk18 is a 10.5", you will need a 14" or 16" inner barrel so the suppresor doesn't interfere with your hop up, if you plan to use it in game.

I used to take the suppresor off when playing partly for this reason.

To be honest, i wouldn't know. However i've used AEG stocks on my GBBR and the only thing i've noticed is the wobble. I THINK that most AEG's aren't to spec of real steel parts so the stock might be loose. If someone more knowledgable can confirm/correct this that'd be good too :P

For a standard retractable stock, they're all the same. They only start to differ when you move to the PRS or UBR stocks.

Stock wobble comes from off-spec stocks and/or tubes. If you match spec to spec, then you should be fine.

the stocks themselves are the same, it's how the stock tube mounts to the receiver that's usually different
