Echo 1 Red Star OMG? omg or fail?
Hey I recently saw that Toronto airsoft has the red star rpk74m on sale for christmas. Ive been considering buying an rpk for awhile now and was wondering if anyone owns this version and what they think of it?
Before the argument over LCT vs. Echo 1 starts Im well aware that LCT is better in every aspect. Just looking for a review of the echo 1 (materials, durability, performance, etc). I've always owned steel aks and have seen over the years what happens eventually to potmetal guns, all the reviews I found online for this gun just say "full metal const" so its left me with doubts.

Echo 1 RPKs are CYMA RPKs which only have a steel body; everything else is pot metal. This thread on Red Alliance should have some useful information for you.

It's decent but nothing like the LCT. I have both.
Actually, I bought the E1 Red Star RPK from Wildcard with an LCT mechbox already swapped into it. Sent from my universe to yours |

Echo 1 may have a steel body but its not the body that usually breaks. Its the front sight, stock tangs, etc. Always go full steel.
