CSA Approved tactical boots

Hey guys, I just got a job in a warehouse, and I need a pair of CSA approved boots. Rather than buying a pair of those stupidly bulky and heavy boots from Canadian Tire I would prefer to get something similar to my Danner GTX.

Any recommendations for a set of light weight and comfy CSA approved boots (if such thing exists :P )

So far these are the most appealing to me, however I would rather not spend over 200$

Thanks

Magnum makes a whole line of CSA boots in 6 and 8 inch both insulated and non insulated.

These are what I use for work. CSA approved, light weight and all composite. Very similar to what you are looking at, but not gortex.

Great for my airsoft needs as well. Very comfortable.

Check out Original Swat. They have a few that are CSA approved and even water proof. I wear them all day and they are very light.

http://www.lproyer.com/en/products/metal-free/10-8604/ I spent around 150+
I work in a factory and these are tougher than Swat CSA boots which blew up on me in 3 months from aluminum cutting my boot.

Look at the offerings from COFRA. Very very light weight, comfortable. No steel csa. Some might be in the price range (I get mine heavily discounted through work)

Thanks guys for all the advice.
I'll be buying a pair from Mister Safety Shoes tomorrow, because I need them for Tuesday.

Now I'm between these three models:

The bates 2274

Magnum 5319

and Royer

I haven't heard any input about the Magnumns.

I'll just probably decide by which feels best. Thanks

I work as a paramedic and ended up purchasing the SWAT 2252 boots. Couldn't be happier, I ended up wearing them every day even off work. Much more ankle support than the Magnums they replaced, though they definitely need a break in period, at least in my experience. They're also CSA approved, so that should fit your needs.

I got mine on sale from MD Charlton for $109 plus tax.

I would suggest calling a head to see if they have what you want in stock. I've found that I had to go to their head office location (the one on Finch) to get what I needed.

Thanks a lot Fuji, if I hadn't called, I wouldn't have got the pair of boots I wanted

I ended up getting the Bates, they were the lightest and softest boots in the store, they are better than the Magnums they had. Almost as comfortable as my pair of Danner
