Need To Create A Load-out, No Idea Where To Start!

This question gets asked a lot but my needs are a little different perhaps and I can't seem to find a straight answer so here goes...

I don't play CQB or even MilSim, well at least not the way most do. The way myself and my friends play is far more slow and boring to most. We've played a full day last summer where between 8 guys only two mags were emptied. Now this was paintball but still the same concept. Now with myself and subsequently them getting into Airsoft we need advise on gear. We like to play a stealth first, hell a stealth second and third type of game. I've been hearing great things regarding ACU's.

Now I personally play with BDU's from the US, nothing special. So really my question is this, where is the best place to buy them? Whats the best brand? etc. Or do you even think they're as good as the claims? I've seen some pretty good evidence albeit pictorial evidence not video on how good they can work. Now considering I'm playing on a 20 acre piece of land in Myersburg that has nothing but hills, trees, brush etc. Any info you can send my way would be awesome. You can get some Proppers camo in many army issues (not sure we said it this way in english). They're tuff and work pretty well, not like those chinese replicas. IMO woodland will suit you best for your kind of field, but multicam may do a great job too.

But if you want the best, why not get a ghillie suit and BE A LIVING BUSH

lol My team sniper has his own. But yeah I've used regular Woodland but i find it still stands out too much in the certain terrain.

Describe the terrain, there are a lot of different camos. Depends on your taste too. I love the ATACS pattern personally.
EDIT: By describe I mean picture, colors, because the first post does describe the land already:P

Also, do you need the whole loadout or only the BDU/ACU?

Typical Canadian early spring brush.

Well I already have brand new top and bottom MARPAT and o OD Green Condor modular vest. Have only grabbed so far a double pistol mag pouch and a single m4 mag pouch (picking up another one soon). Going to pick up a SERPA drop leg holster (too bad I haven't found a green one yet). Need a hydration system and a few more pouches etc.

I second that, also to Uberg33k, consider getting a shemagh, most definitely not in one of those hipster colors, go for the olive ones you can usually find in a surplus store. I was surprised to see how much a well used (don't worry about it getting stringy) shemagh of that color can break up profile.

Worked for me with real Multicam and black MBSS (ACM but restitched and reconfigured by hand). You also need dirt, genuine standard issue dirt, don't be shy about getting the gear dirty. Also, listen to what the big guys are saying, get the very best gear that they recommend, good stuff will last longer.

I kinda like the setup you guys have, its more fun when its a tension filled, long drawn out scenario, it messes with the patience level, hehe.

Why does everyone immeidately go "HURRRRRR look how American I can be!" This seems to a be a majour plague within the Canadian Airsoft community.

Get some real Cadpat. The stuff usually comes from the reserves up north like the riggers and what not. You blend in great, especially since you are playing in the "wilderness" and not some plywood CQB arena.

INB4 Ermahgerd illegal! Get some RAPT4 stuff if its such a huge issue for you moral chest bangers.

If your woodland stands out too much its either rally faded to too new once its well used woodland works great all year in canadian wilderness if you wash it with harsh detergent a fes times its useless as it washes out the color quickly.
That goes for all camo use "baby" detergent and only wash it when its stinky. If its a lil muddy or dusty thats fine cause itll work beter.
Cadpat in summer arid cadpat in fall winter and spring.
Woodland in summed 3 color desert in fall winter and spring.
I just use woodland all year and winter whites in winter and often my ghillie wben sniping

Can't go wrong with the old US woodlands; their cheap, readily available, incredibly comfortable, they work fairly well, and their durable. Not to mention, pretty much every piece of gear can be found with this pattern like heavier jackets, rain gear, pouches, etc.

Another good choice is the old OD's, where I live their even cheaper than the woodlands. Not as many people wear all OD as people wearing woodlands; so if you're looking to be a little different but still be budget concious, you really can't go wrong with OD's.

If you're looking for more a tanside look, the DCU's are essentially the exact same as the woodlands, and the British desert dpm is great and so is the desert German flecktarn.

As for gear, if you're looking to give your OD plate carrier a more dirtier look, pick up a can of the tan camo krylon paint (Canadian Tire and Kent have this) and lightly dust over your carrier. It doesn't paint it, just gives it a nice dusty look.
