Lightweight snug fitting rig?
Hey,
I've been using a pantac RRV with a RRV hydration carrier attached. With all the adjustment straps done up as far as they can go the rig is still loose and bounces around too much for my liking. It's all pretty bulky and heavy when fully loaded up (9 mags, coleman propane tank, 2 pistol mags, bb's, water, radio..) I've been thinking of getting a smaller rig and cutting down my my mags to 6-8 (gbbr m4 mags). I was wondering what is a good rig to start from? I'd ideally prefer something with a smaller profile that more evenly distributes the overall load, perhaps placing the weight from the mag pouches up higher on the body. I do like the ability to use a hydration carrier especially for longer games and need to carry a small tank of propane which is the bulkiest piece to carry. I've seen a few rigs I liked that had little clutter on the sides giving the shooter a smaller profile. Here's an example of something I was sort of picturing? http://lbtinc.com/slick-medium-plate-carrier-2766.html Any input or suggestions would be great as I will continue research and look around. If that's a slick 6094 that's a good place to start, and you can find them around for $100+ on ebay. I'd recommend a Shellback Tactical Banshee myself, I know that's my next big purchase and it retails for about $115 from the states, and has most of the features people usually look for in lightweight and compact plate carriers.

Link fixed thanks for the heads up.
I like the fit and elastic material on the sides, I don't really understand how you attach molle onto the front? |

I believe you usually wear a chest rig on top of that.

JPC looks interesting.. I really like the elastic cumberbund on the lbt though. Anyone know of some more retailers who carry slick 6094's? Or something along those lines.

thanks for the suggestions skeletor.
The shellback banshee also looks like it could work well. Would this elastic cumberbund be compatible with it? http://www.skdtac.com/P-I-G-Plate-Ca...-p/pig.201.htm |

The PIG should work fine with the banshee. That's what I plan on picking up. Looking at a teammates Banshee PC, any cummerbund will fit, it's just a standard slot in the back for it to go through.
