Act Of Valor (for wannabes)
I'm asking for help IDing the kit use by Bandito Platoon in the movie Act Of Valor. Please post what mission, and what SEAL (if possible) when you ID any kit. Please refer to stuff like chest rigs, pouches, gloves, helmets, and rifle asseceries to begin with, then we might throw other equipment into the mix.
Sorry if I'm reposting. And I'll start, I was noticing alot of Mechix Mpact gloves specifily pre-HALO jump in Colombia(?).

radio
The radio and headset they're using are Nacre QuietPro's. Mostly its on their left side and is the little gold(ish) box just below their shoulder. Costs about $300 on Ebay for the single and $400+ for the double (double allows you to have 2 radios: usually one for team and the other for higher). They only work with certain radios which are usually Motorola HT1000 and are $75+ on Ebay as well

http://soldiersystems.net/2012/02/22...-act-of-valor/ Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SILYNX-C4OPS...item2576392614 They actually use Silynx systems. Similar in nature, but a different product. National Guard are issued Nacre Quietpro's, hence you see quite a few of them on ebay. Last edited by c3sk; October 15th, 2012 at 18:07.. |

Sealy Kit stuff
This is what I see in the film....
They are using LBT 6094's. Some of them are using MSA comtac 4's other comms as above. AN/PVS 14'S and 15's (nearly sure both are used in the film). MBITR radios. HPFU Shirts and Trousers. (Similar to the CP BDU's but less ball breakingly expensive!) Helmets are a mix of ACH 2000, 2001, 2002 and the old IBH Look up USSOCOM for allowable weapons systems and accessories. List is current and right there. Please correct if wrong..
